Sustainability

The City of Helsinki’s Youth Services have been awarded the EcoCompass certificate. The EcoCompass environmental certificate is awarded to an organisation that has assessed its environmental impact, established an environmental programme and followed it. EcoCompass is an easy-to-use environmental system for all sectors based on the international ISO 14001 standard.

We also pay attention to environmental aspects at the camp centre. We strive to use energy and water sparingly and sort our waste carefully. We do not recommend the use of disposable tableware at the camp centre.
