  • There is also a gas grill in the yard and a gas bottle in a locked cabinet.
  • There are parking spaces for roughly 4–5 cars and a large parking area on the other side of the street; six hours of parking time with a parking disc.
  • Near the building, there is a beach that deepens gradually towards the sea. At the beach, there is also a locked shed storing canoes (for a maximum of 15 people) for use by small groups.

Familiarisation with the facilities

  • An employee will familiarise the group’s instructor with the facilities and equipment as necessary.
  • The building has a safety and rescue plan with which every user must familiarise themselves.
  • The indoor spaces and yard areas are smoke-free and substance-free, and the principles of the Smoke-free Helsinki programme are followed in them.
  • Youth Services locations seek to follow a sustainable lifestyle. This means that the building seeks to operate as ecologically as possible: energy and water are used sparingly and waste is sorted carefully.
  • The building’s use is based on independent use, i.e. users must leave the building just as tidy as it was on their arrival.
