Arabia Youth Centre

The youth centre has a PlayStation, an Xbox One, a pool table, ping pong, two computers, a television, table hockey and many other things!

Something is always going on at the youth centre

We organise theme nights, clubs, tournaments, excursions, discos, movie nights and many other fun things. At the youth centre, you can also influence the themes and activities featured in open activities.

The building offers versatile facilities where young people can meet up to engage in physical activity, games, musical activities or just hang out. We hold various music events almost every week.

There are always at least two youth workers present at the youth centre.

Would you like to have a say in things?

You can participate in decision-making at the youth centre. Young people can plan and implement activities and events at the youth centre with the youth workers. At youth centre meetings, participants plan joint activities and lay down and update the building’s rules.

We also try to encourage young people to become active influencers. Our youth workers would be happy to tell you about the young people’s influence system Youth Budget as well as other channels for influencing things. Ask us for more information!

Season booking

Organisations, associations and other groups and individuals can apply for a regular, weekly booking from the Youth Services’ facilities for activities lasting at least three months. Youth space facilities for the autumn-spring season must be applied for by the last working day of April.

The youth spaces’ season booking application period for activities in autumn 2024 and spring 2025 will open on Thursday 4 April 2024 and close on Tuesday 30 April 2024 at 16:00. The application is submitted via Varaamo service at tilavaraus.hel.fi (the temporary address of the renewed Varaamo)

Single booking

For selected locations, single bookings can be made via the Varaamo service throughout the year.

Bands

Two well-equipped training rooms for bands are also located in the building, for more information and free reservations you can ask tarja.kujanpaa@hel.fi
