Introduction

Youth Centre Kameleontti is an association-led youth centre managed by Stadin nuorisoseurat.

We work together with Helsinki’s youth services, social services, the area’s schools, daycare centres, parish and other operators. We carry out instructed and culturally oriented activities at after-school clubs, other clubs and open activities.

We offer instructed hobbies and cultural activities, such as crafts, theatre, physical exercise, music and baking. We organise after-school activities for 1st–2nd graders, as well as open activities for 3rd–7th graders. The club themes are based on the participants’ interests.

OPen activities

Come and play games on PS4 and Xbox One, billiards, table football or board games, or just hang out with friends or talk to the instructors!

The youth centre has two computers with fast internet connections for browsing and gaming. All media content available for children at the youth centre (games, TV, films) has a maximum age restriction of 7.

The centre’s kiosk sells drinks and snacks every day from 15:00 onwards. The kiosk closes 30 minutes before the youth centre.

In addition to that, you can listen to some music or watch TV.

You can also use our sports hall every day. You can play floorball or indoor football, play games or build forts from big foam blocks, dance or rehearse a play, among other things.
