Introduction

Pakila Youth Centre is an old workers’ house located in the heart of a residential area. Everyone is welcome there just as they are! The youth centre is the local young people’s colourful and cosy living room. You can get there with bus lines 67, 66A and 63 from the railway station, for example.

You can come and hang out alone or with your friends, play games and talk with the youth workers. The youth centre is an easy place to get to know new people. There are many fun things to do in the building, including tables for playing pool, ping pong and table football, a PS4, two computers, board games, magazines, etc.

We also have a small kiosk from which you can buy noodles, sweets and beverages, among other things.

Our target group mainly comprises 9–18-year-olds, but we will not turn you away even if you are older.

Many things to do

You can participate in activities such as clubs, camps, excursions, discos, band activities, afternoon activities, etc. The activities are planned and evaluated together with young people at regular youth centre meetings. You can also participate as an active influencer and peer instructor.

Come and join the youth kitchen project

We cook together using waste food donated by the Alepa grocery store in Paloheinä. We also cook for other people and clean up afterwards.

You can also bring your own food with you and cook it here on the condition that you clean up afterwards.

Welcome to Pakila Youth Centre!

We do not tolerate racism or discrimination of any kind. Our activities are always substance-free.
